Redskins 6-5-1 Looking To Get A Win On The Road Against Philly!

9 Dec

The Washington Redskins are 6-5-1 heading into Lincoln Financial Field to face the Philadelphia Eagles, a team that has had their fair share of struggles this season, but will that change Sunday? The Eagles are currently last in the NFC East with a record of 5-7 and have lost three games straight back to back.

Redskins, on the other hand, are hungry for a win to keep their wild-card spot alive, but has suffered two losses against teams they should’ve beaten. So both teams will be coming to play ball December 11th with one common goal in mind and that’s to win.

A lot of people are picking The Washington Redskins to beat Philly easily, but as a Redskins fan that’s sort of like a jinx to me..lol Can’t trust it. As Washington Redskin quarterback Kirk Cousins once said, “All NFL teams are great every Sunday, so it will be arrogant and naive to go out there with a (We Got This One In The Bag) type mindset”

Kirk didn’t actually say it in those exact words, but he totally gets the ideology of playing the sport of professional football. Offensive Linemen Trent Williams will be back in Redskins line-up after coming off a four-game suspension for violating policy rules, but he had much-needed help, thanks to Ty Nsekhe filling in the role for Trent at Left tackle.

Jordan Reed is still questionable heading into Sunday’s big game stemming from a shoulder injury he suffered against the Arizona Cardinals. Coach Jay Gruden isn’t too adamant about Reed going out there playing through pain, but Reed is amped up to go help his team win.

Jordan Reed on the magnitude of his injury. “It’s definitely some worries,” Reed said about pushing through the pain. “I just leave it in God’s hands and I just go out there and do my job.

Coach Jay Gruden on the state of Reed Health “We can’t predict that or guess how he actually feels come game time,” Gruden said of Reed. “Ultimately, it will be his call.”

Redskins Defense Will be looking to do more of the same in their first matchup against the Eagles. However, it’s week 14 in the NFL and I’m sure Philly hasn’t forgotten what made them come up short the last time around. Philly hasn’t scored over 15 pts in the last 3 matchups but will be looking to change that statistic.

Redskins Offense Needs to get No.11 DeSean Jackson involved early to exploit Eagles mediocre secondary that allowed teams to score over 21 pts per game on them. So, Redskins does have 89% chance of beating a struggling Eagles team simply because they can manage to put over 21 pts per game, but it won’t be easy as I said in a previous article.

Wdmv362radio.com Score Predictions: Washington 30 – Philadelphia 17.
