Lebron James Heartbroken At The Sad Reality Of Racism In America (Video)

Future Hall Of Fame NBA legend Lebron James has never been one to shy away from the injustices black people face here in America. Recently The 32-Year old experienced something that’s very rare for superstars like himself. According to credible reports, Lebron’s Los Angeles home was vandalized with a racial slur on it that wrote the word “N*gger”, and to say this is an atrocity is an understatement to even what black pro-athletes face here in America.

“As I sit here on the eve of one of the greatest sporting events we have, race and what is going on comes again,” he said. “On my behalf, family’s behalf, I look at this as if this sheds a light and keeps the conversation going. My family is safe, that’s most important.

Lebron even went as far as to reference the horrific hate crime done against Emmett Till, a tragedy that’ll forever have people of African decent shaking to the core.

“Just shows that racism will always be a part of the world, part of America. Hate in America, especially for African-Americans, is living every day. It is hidden most days. It is alive every single day. I think back to Emmett Till’s mom and the reason she had an open casket, she wanted to show the world what her son went through in terms of a hate crime in America. No matter how much money you have, how famous you are, how much people admire you, being black in America is tough.”

Hopefully, the conversation of hate on minorities can continue to shed a light on what’s been going on for years. We thought we’d never see a black president and it came to pass, and this ugly sore we face here in America shall pass too, but when?
