Suge Marion Knight has reportedly been sentenced to 28-years in a federal prison for his accidental involvement in the 2015 murder of his friend Terry Carter. Suge Knight, 53, struck a plea deal with the courts I’m quite sure he wish it would’ve been a little lighter, but considering the former Death Row Record CEO facing life in prison some are lucky to get what he’s gotten today.
Catching You Up To Speed: Back in January of 2015, Suge Knight was attending a meeting to allegedly meet up with one of the producers of Hit movie Straight Outta Compton but it didn’t go as well as plan. Surveillance cameras spotted Knight on tape running over Carter trying to flee the scene in which Knight said his life was in danger. Though Suge made a good case to get off, a history of run-ins with law made it hard for him to fight on top of the fact his money wasn’t long enough to hire the right representation.
If he serves the whole sentence of 28-Years, Knight will be 81 when he sees the light of day again. The life of Suge Knight will go down in Hip Hop/Entertainment history as one of the biggest rises and falls the game has ever seen.
