Floyd “Money” Mayweather broke boxing icon Rocky Marciano’s record last night by stopping UFC fighter Conor McGregor in the 10th round. The future boxing hall of famer will go down in history as one of the greatest fighters to ever step in a ring, leaving with all his senses, and his genius in doing business.
We’re wondering what fight critics/boxing analyst thought about what they saw from McGregor’s performance against Mayweather? Boxing fans and analyst gave Conor 3-rounds but we saw it completely different. Conor’s awkward style of fight actually had judges calling the fight close midway through the rounds.
We gave McGregor 4-Rounds because he was able to make Floyd head snap back with some hard shots that landed flush. However, before the fight Floyd Mayweather made a promise to the media that he’ll go forward facing McGregor because he felt like he let his fans down with some questionable fights in the past.
Why did he feel like he owed the fans a fight like last night? It’s beyond us. Floyd has took some hard shots in the past from boxing legends such as; Miguel Cotto, Zab Juda, DeMarcus “Chop Chop” Corley, Shane Mosley, and Jose Luis Castillo.
Overall we gave the fight a B+++ for living up to the hype and giving people their money’s worth. Check out some highlights + Post interviews below.
