Brooklyn, NYC MC Joey Bada$$ blesses us with a dope track titled “Victory” produced Kirk Knight & Adam Pallin. This song was done in collaboration with Mountain Dew and the NBA and the company’s partnership The Courtside Project for Allstar Weekend. Two days ago, Joey released a 40-sec trailer to The Courtside Project in which we have as well as his brand new single. Check out his statement he gave to Billboard.
I’m excited to be a part of The Courtside Project,” Joey said in a statement to Billboard. “It’s the fusion of several different worlds — from basketball to music, style and art — that are not all separate streams anymore, they are interconnected. I always want to encourage the youth to be themselves and pursue their dreams, whether those are hoop dreams, Grammy dreams or PhD dreams.
Joey is gearing up to release his sophomore album A.B.B.A sometime this year. There’s no specific release date as to when this project drops but according to Joey himself, it should be ready 3rd-Quarter this Fall.
